ALEXA MOFFETT
Lyrical / Contemporary
At the young age of 15, Alexa Moffett started creating and instructing some of the most well known in the country. Alexa's training is sought after and recognized for her precise technique, attention to detail, and ability to showcase stage presence.
Alexa's has mentored students to work on multiple entertainment programs such as America's Got Talent, The American Music Awards, So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation, X Factor, Abby Lee's Ultimate Dance Competition, The Maury Show, The Ellen Show, Dancing with The Stars, Fresh Off The Boat, Disney Channel’s Shake It Up, BunHeads, Boss Cheer, and Dance Moms. She was featured as a guest choreographer and personality for Lifetime's Dance Moms. She is the founder and choreographer of multiple entertainment groups. Such as Fresh Faces (America’s Got Talent Season 8 Quarter Finals) and Complexity (America’s Got Talent Season 9/Digi Tour Opening Act Jack and Jack).
Alexa has toured worldwide for her own workshops, instructing master classes, and setting choreography. Including North America, South America, Europe, and Australia. Alexa is the owner and director of Danceplex, Arizona’s Dance and Entertainment Complex.
Alexa is most recognized on multiple social media accounts for her choreography and impressive story telling skills. Gaining 300,000+ followers on her Instagram, 100,000+ subscribers on her YouTube channel, and 20,000+ on her Twitter. Alexa continues to positively influence dancers of all ages and is looked up to as a role model in the dance community.
ZACHARY CARDWELL
Ballet / Technique
Zachary Cardwell is a Toronto born dancer and educator as well as a graduate of the Arts Umbrella Post-Secondary Program in Vancouver, BC. He has had the privilege to work with choreographers such as Crystal Pite, James Kudelka, Emanual Gat, and Fernando Hernando Magadan, among others. Since moving back to Toronto, Zachary has worked with Toronto Dance Theatre, Zata Omm Dance Projects, and Dusk Dances. Zachary has toured in Holland performing in the ITS festival 2017 and in Netherlands Dans Theatre & Korzo's Shortcuts XL 2017. As an educator, Zachary focuses on fostering healthy relationships to dance and empowering future dancers in both ballet and contemporary styles.
ADDISON MOFFETT
Contemporary
Addison Moffett began her dance training at the age of six in Burnsville, Minnesota and quickly realized dance was more than a hobby for her. Addison has won national titles including: top soloist Teen and Senior at the Dance Awards, Hall of Fame dance off Champion, and KAR Miss Dance America. In 2016 she toured as a demonstrator for the established dance convention West Coast Dance Explosion. She was signed with Bloc Talent Agency at a young age and began working professionally soon after that. Working with artists such as Diamond White in her performance on the XFactor USA and Selena Gomez in her debut of “Wolves” on the 2017 American Music Awards. As well as most recently being a featured cast member in the Las Vegas residency “A Mob Story”.
SHAWN BRACKE
Jazz / Contemporary
Shawn Bracke is a versatile dancer, choreographer and visual artist, creating movement for stage, film and television. His work is story-based and aims to inspire audiences to think critically and feel deeply.
His aesthetic stems from his strong technical training and a professional career that immersed in the commercial and concert dance worlds. His extensive training in Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-hop and Vernacular styles have been integral to his unique movement. Shawn draws from experience with improvisational acting techniques to create a heightened emotional state with his work.
Having spent time living in Vancouver, London UK, Milan and now in Toronto, Canada. Shawn has gained credits working with major brands.
Selected credits include: Much Music MMVA's, We Day, YTV the Zone, "The Next Step", "Once Upon A Time", Toronto Short Film Festival, Inside Out Film Festival, Converse & Bud Light Sensation."
NEIL ROBLES
Hip / Hop
Known for his creative and peculiar movements, Neil has made his way into being one of the up and coming choreographers and dancers in the Toronto dance scene. From performing to a sold-out crowd at the Ricoh Coliseum, to teaching at the Rhythm2Dance Summer Camp with over 150 students, Neil has proven himself versatile in all fields. Neil has had the privilege to work with well-known choreographers such as Leon Blackwood, Shavar Blackwood, Ofilio Portillo, Apolonia Velasquez, Mark Samuels and Joe Tuliao, to name a few. He was also a member of “The Male Initiative” under the direction of Shavar Blackwood, and worked closely with Gadfly during their annual Aybrid Intensive. On top of dance, his passion for the art grows fonder through various community work and outreach programs, where he hopes to share positivity and light to the people he meets.
SARAH KOEKKOEK
Ballet
Sarah Koekkoek is an independent dance artist, choreographer and trauma informed educator based in Toronto/Tkarón:to. After receiving classical ballet training from The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School sarah went on to perform with some of Canada's largest ballet companies (Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Ballet Jorgen and The Royal Winnipeg Ballet). Sarah continues to study movement and choreography through experimental movement exploration and participating in residencies at Banning Bouldins Nashville company New Dialect, The Banff Centre of the Arts where she worked with Gabrielle Lamb, Eric Beauchesne (Kidd Pivot), Toer Von Schayk, Merrill Ashley and dancers from Sharon Eyals L.E.V.. Also working as a dancer for Jasmyn Fyffe in the New Blue Festival, Valance Movement (Jamee Valin), IO Movement (Lauren Runions) as well as visual artists Maryanne Casasanta and Camille Rojas.
ZSAKIRA DEL COL
Contemporary
Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, Zsakira Del Col is a passionate artist with a diligent and enthusiastic work ethic. Dancing from the age of 8, Zsakira grew up training in various styles and has continued to tirelessly advance her craft over the years. This determination lead her to further immerse herself in dance by attending Victoria School of the Arts, where she expanded both her dance and drama education throughout high school. Zsakira later made the move to Toronto, Ontario to attend The Conteur Academy where she refined her strong technical base. During her time at The Academy, she expanded upon her training in Contemporary, Ballet, Floor Work, Modern, Partnering, and Improvisation.
Since graduation, Zsakira has performed in ACE Dance Theatre’s IMPULSE, Christina Digiuseppe’s La Femme Kabarett (Fringe Festival 2018) and worked with choreographers such as Hanna Kiel, Allen Kaeja, Eryn Waltman, Robert Glumbek, Kelly Shaw, and Ryan Lee.
DOMINIC COOPER-CLARKE
Hip Hop
Born and raised in Birmingham, England; Dominic grew up around a musically influenced family, ranging from vocalists to music production. Being part of a Gospel choir, he grew up singing both locally and worldwide, from all across the UK, to South Africa. It wasn’t until his secondary years where he found his love and passion back on the stage.
Having only been dancing for a short period of time compared to most, Dominic believes that “hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” In spite of his relatively tender years, he has been noticeably seen on Britain’s got talent, and even won the UDO Street Dance World Championship with his former crew, High Definition. Since being in Canada, he has worked with the likes of Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, Victoria Duffield, Scott Helman and The Toronto Raptors.
During his time in Toronto, Dominic has had the opportunity to receive mentorship from Toronto’s leading Influential Choreographers and Artistic Directors such as Shavar Blackwood, Leon Blackwood, and Angela Mahoney. Dominic has also been fortunate enough to receive various scholarships from Monsters of Hip Hop, allowing him to train and learn from the best internationally. Dominic was recently recognized by his peers as a recipient for the Trailblazer Award, which recognizes his ability to take initiative and his contributions to the Canadian dance community.
Most recently, Dominic just completed a year abroad, performing on the biggest cruise ship in the world, Symphony of the Seas. Dominic was a featured Acrobat, in the High flying aqua show “HiRo” produced by Royal Caribbean, and Choreographed by Shay Kuebler.
JULIA COSENTINO
Jazz / Technique
Julia Consentino, a contemporary/jazz artist from Toronto, ON, received her BFA Hons. Degree in Dance from York University in 2012. Since graduating, Julia has had the pleasure of training, collaborating, and performing with companies including Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, Jasmyn Fyffe Dance, Rodney Diverlus, Rock Bottom Movement, Frog In Hand, Newton Moraes Dance Theatre, ProArteDanza, Hit and Run Dance Productions, and ZDancemovement.
Julia’s passion for jazz has led her to explore new avenues, including Jump Rhythm Jazz Technique, West African dance, swing, Afro-Cuban, mime, music, puppetry and clown. Jazz is such a diverse style that marries all of the things she loves most about dance: music, rhythm, physical challenge, artistry and expression. Julia is looking forward to sharing her passion and digging in with all of you. Let’s abandon all expectations and discover new things together. Are you ready?
